Inventors are always thinking of ways to light up our lives and the inventor of the Glow in the Dark toilet seat has done just that. Dave Reynolds, a concert promoter who has been with some of the biggest bands in the world and spent two years on tour with Justin Bieber, invented the glow in the dark toilet seat.

It came about while on tour when one night he had to go to the bathroom and it was pitch dark and he didn’t want to turn a light on for fear he would wake everyone up. That’s when it hit him: a glow in the dark toilet seat. He said the invention came about purely for safety reasons.

The toilet seat sells for $49.99 and glows in either blue or green depending on your taste. Reynolds says, at the end of the day, it’s a bathroom light house.
