Governor Paul LePage Rescued a New Dog & Gave Him a Political Name
After the sad passing of Governor LePage's long-time family pup Baxter, the LePage's adopted a new family dog today.
The dog (pictured with Governor LePage in the Facebook post below) appears to be another mix. The pup was adopted from the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society in Lewiston. So what name did Maine's outspoken, often offensive governor choose to call his new best friend? Veto. He named the dog Veto. I can only imagine where he got the inspiration for that moniker...
Thank you for choosing to adopt, Paul!
