Must Visit Haunted Attractions in Maine, New Hampshire, & Massachusetts
Growing up in the Northern Maine town of Houlton, I remember Halloween always being a special time.
It’s the night when the air feels a little sharper, the leaves crunch a little louder, and the world feels just a little more magical. You get to dress up as anything you can dream of, from superheroes to princesses to the scariest monster you can imagine. The fun starts the second you zip up that costume and grab your candy bag.
The thrill of running from house to house with your friends, the porch lights guiding the way, is something you never forget. Every doorbell was a mystery and every handful of candy felt like treasure. The excitement, the laughter, and the sugar rush made it feel like the best night of the year.
As a kid, Halloween wasn’t just a holiday. It was pure magic.
The good news is that, even though we are all grown up, we can still join in on the Halloween fun.
