One of the coolest trends that we have seen in recent decades is ski resorts adding warm weather activities.

As the economy, and people's vacation habits, changed many ski resort owners started looking for ways to make money off their giant properties during the spring summer, and fall.

While this trend started at just a few mountains, these days, it is rare to find a ski area or ski resort that is not running some kind of summer activities.  These range from the elaborate, like alpine slides and mountain coasters, to much more basic offerings, like sight-seeing (and foliage) trips to the summit via ski lift or gondola.

Now, it looks like Eastern Maine's Hermon Mountain is getting in on the action.
