Hidden Inside This Coastal Maine Home Is A Swimming Pool

With the official start of summer only a few months away, we've been digging deep to find houses for sale in Maine that have pools.  We're not too picky, so we've highlighted houses with nearly Olympic-sized pools and houses with fairly small above ground pools.

But, this is a new one for us.

In the coastal Maine Town of Milbridge, there is a home that has an inside pool that can be used during all four seasons!

According to Realtor.com, the home encompasses just over 5,000 square feet.  It has six bedrooms, five bathrooms, several living rooms, a laundry room, and a garage.  Currently, the home is set up as a trio of apartments.  It could easily be made into one large single family home or used as a bed & breakfast.

Of course, the highlight of the property is the inside lap pool.  What is a lap pool?  Well, just like it sounds, it is a pool that is big enough to swim laps in!  The pool, located on the backside of the garage, is in a glassed-in solarium allowing it to be partially warmed by the sunlight.

The home sits of 14 acres of land and is situated on the banks of the Narraguagus River.

The home is priced at just under $500,000.  If the buyer was to put $120,000 down at closing, the monthly payment would be about $2,500.  That would include the mortgage (principal and interest), taxes, and insurance.
