Here Are the Maine & New Hampshire Snowfall Totals From the Weekend Storm
People who are not fans of snow have been spoiled by the weather we have had over the last few years. Yes, we have had a few nasty storms, but for the most part, our winters have been really mild.
This winter has been different, though. Over the last few weeks, we have had a series of small and medium storms. The snow is really starting to pile up.
These storms, however, were nothing like what we got slammed with between Saturday night and Sunday evening.
Here in Central Maine, the first flakes began to fall at about 10 PM. At first, it was light fluffy snow. It did not stay that way, though. By midday on Sunday, it had switched over to sleet and freezing rain.
Fortunately, despite the fact that the National Weather Service had called for a Winter Storm Warning that extended through 4 AM on Monday, the storm had died down by about 8 PM on Sunday. This gave our plow men and women plenty of time to clean up the streets and roads.
So, how much snow did we all get from the weekend storm? We have the answer.
