According to a post on the Maine State Police Facebook page, first responders are dealing with a serious crash on I-95 southbound in Waterville.

The Facebook page says, in part:

A serious accident on I-95 going southbound in Waterville has caused a full shutdown of the interstate at mile marker 130 while crews work to clear the area. Traffic is currently being diverted at Exit 130, the accident being a few miles south. Expect delays while traveling, and please try to avoid the area.

We have unconfirmed reports that the crash may have involved a vehicle driving into a work site.  We are also hearing that the overpass

An article on the WGME website explains that there is no confirmation on injuries resulting from the crash.
