Central Maine Crash on I-95 Northbound Causes Traffic Delays

If you are traveling northbound on the I-95 in the Litchfield area, you may want to find an alternate route.

According to an article on the WMTW website, a Tuesday morning crash near mile market 98 on the northbound side of the interstate has caused that section of road to be down to one lane.

The crash reportedly happened in the median, but the presence of first responders has caused the closure of the left lane.

As we understand it, traffic is flowing through that area, but at a slower rate.

Maine Transit Authority officials advise I-95 northbound drivers to exercise caution between Exit 86 and the West Gardiner Barrier Toll, as delays are expected.
