Popular Maine Store Now Selling Skittles Soda!

When it comes to an eclectic pallet for beverages, Maine pretty much takes the cake. From Allen's Coffee Brandy to Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey and Moxie soda, we have quite the array of popular flavors here in the Pine Tree State.

Well now, one of our most-favorite places to get ANY kind of beverage, has a wicked-cool new option. According to a Facebook post from their page, Damon's Beverage in Augusta is now offering Skittles soda!

Damon's is no stranger to timely and unique offerings and they typically have something 'new' to try. I have to admit though, when I first saw the picture I assumed it was an alcoholic beverage.

And, while it's not alcoholic, I'm certain that a little splash of Cold River Maine Vodka would go a long way in making this a sweet and scrumptious cocktail. Of course, don't try this unless you're over the age of 21.

Part of me is also wondering if you could use these bottles to make several smaller skittles shots? Ah, who am I kidding, of course you can. And most certainly there are people out there who would be fine drinking this as is without adding anything extra to it. But that's just no fun.

We're not exactly sure what the price of the new Skittles soda is, or how long it will be in stock. What we do know is that these types of things don't usually sit on the shelf for very long, so if you want to try it, you best get to Damon's Beverage on Bangor Street in Augusta ASAP!
