This Maine Farm Is Turning Its Big Red Barn Into a Haunted Tasting Experience
A haunted barn, live music, and a Halloween outing that helps a local food pantry? That’s a pretty good reason to pull your costume out a week early.
Stone Tree Farm & Cidery in Unity is hosting Monster Mash on Saturday, October 24, from 2–8 p.m., and the afternoon comes with more than a spooky soundtrack.
A Haunted Tasting With a Purpose
According to the farm’s event announcement, the Big Red Barn will become a Haunted Tasting experience, with proceeds benefiting the local food pantry.
Admission is $10, and here’s the nice surprise: that also includes admission to the concert on the picnic grounds. You can make an afternoon of it while supporting neighbors who could use a little help.
Personally, I love a Halloween plan that gives me a reason to dress up without having to wait until Halloween night. Add a community connection, and it’s even better.
Live Music, Food, and Costumes
Aftershock will play from 3–7 p.m., while Graze 207 will be on-site serving food. Costumes are highly encouraged, so this is your opportunity to go all out—or finally wear the one sitting in your closet.
If you’re heading over just for the music, concert admission is $5 without the Haunted Tasting.
The event is 21 and older and takes place at Stone Tree Farm & Cidery, 317 Albion Road in Unity, Maine. Bring your costume, your appetite, and somebody who’s up for a spooky Saturday.
