In the last year or so, the number of illegal marijuana growing operations that have been popping up around the state of Maine has skyrocketed.

It seems like each and every day we are hearing about Maine officials busting another grow and taking more people into custody. And, it has happened again. Though this time we have exclusive video of what state officials found when they entered the Chelsea, Maine property.

According to an article published by the Kennebec Journal, at least one person was charged and taken into custody on Tuesday after officials conducted a raid at a home on the Cooper Road in Chelsea.

The KJ goes on to explain that deputies with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office conducted the execution of several search warrants at several Central Maine residences on Tuesday. Two of the properties were in Whitefield and the other was in Chelsea, though Chelsea is part of Kennebec County the newspaper reported.

An official with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office told reporters that all three of the residences that they searched were being used as illegal marijuana grows. This resulted in at least one person being taken into police custody.

The KJ was able to obtain video of officers moving through the Chelsea residence before confiscating more than 900 illegally grown marijuana plants.
