In June 2026, New Hampshire saw a handful of its long-running restaurants close, places that had been around between seven and 20 years.

These businesses had established themselves in their respective Granite State communities over a period of time, with some even earning very high reviews from sites like Yelp and Google.

And yet, the latest shutting of doors highlights that no matter how long a place has been around, no matter how well-liked and excellent the food might be, sometimes the end still comes.

New Hampshire Restaurants That Closed in June 2026

One major silver lining to the four New Hampshire restaurants that closed in June is that they all gave people a chance to come in for one last meal.

There weren't any abrupt endings about what was happening to these places.

Sometimes restaurants suddenly close with no warning, and you find out that news when you drive over, are confused why the parking lot is empty, the lights are off, and those front doors are locked tight.

Let's take a look at some of the places that closed recently in New Hampshire:

It's wild to think about a place like Six Burner Bistro debuted all the way back in 2006 and how much has changed over the years.

According to its Yelp page, the restaurant "started with 9 tables, no bar and BYOB," and soon turned itself into a 4.4-out-of-5-rated spot that had "12 dining room tables, outdoor seating, 2 bars and a 50-person event room."

This was clearly an established New Hampshire spot that closed because its owners were ready for their next chapter.

Luckily for fans of The Bakeshop on Kelley Street, that next chapter came after its ending announcement in the form of a new spot, Karsyn’s Gelato and Bakeshop, built on the foundation of its former establishment.

It's a positive outcome despite its closure.

These four restaurants certainly left their mark in New Hampshire, and fans of them thankfully got a chance for a final bite and a chance to say goodbye.

Ready for the next chapter?
