Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert come together vocally on "Drowns the Whiskey," Aldean's new single, and they met up for the music video, too.

Filmed at Nashville bar Springwater Supper Club, this behind-the-scenes clip shows the pair of superstars are laughing and catching up with each other over a drink and a game of pool.

"Cutting this song for the album has always been a no-brainer for me," Aldean says in a press release. "I wanted keep the video simple and really let the heartbreak and loneliness come through."

When Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert Unite? Chills

"Drowns the Whiskey" has Aldean portraying a man who can't seem to get over an ex, no matter the amount of whiskey he consumes. Lambert provides striking harmonies on the track and is a welcomed addition to the music video set. The clip was shot in the same place Aldean held his Rearview Town album photoshoot.

"I had this idea to do this song with Miranda on this new record. I always thought our voices sounded really good together," he says in this behind-the-scenes clip. "She killed it. She crushed it. She did a great job on it and it's our second single."

"Drowns the Whiskey" was written by Brandon Kinney, Jeff Middleton and Josh Thompson. As the behind-the-scenes teaser shows, the music video puts Lambert and Aldean at the bar.
