Kennebec Rail Trail Cleanup This Saturday (April 22) With The Veterans

This Saturday is Earth Day, and we here at Townsquare Media Augusta/Waterville are ready to do some spring cleaning on one of the great treasures in Central Maine, the Kennebec Rail Trail.

We are teaming up with veterans from the HUD Veteran Affairs Supportive Housing program to clean up portions of the Kennebec River Rail Trail in Augusta and Hallowell, and we could use your help!

We’re going to meet at  Augusta's Capital Park (near the YMCA on Union Street in Augusta) at 8 AM. The cleaning will take place from 8:30 to Noon-ish and, since you’ll have worked up an appetite, we’ll celebrate with a BBQ at the end!
