KFC Unveils Huge Change For Maine & New Hampshire Restaurants

I have to admit that, as a fan of Kentucky Fried Chicken (AKA KFC) for years, I am kind of embarrassed that I never noticed this item was missing from their menu.  Please tell me I am not the only one who never realized that KFC does not have chicken nuggets!

For years, they have offered up chicken tenders and popcorn chicken, in addition to the drumsticks, thighs, and breasts, of course.  But, they have never had regular old chicken nuggets.

In just a couple of days, that is all going to change!

The Nuggets Have Arrived

According to a Fox affiliate in St. Louis, the popular fried chicken restaurant chain will roll out the new offering nationwide on Monday!  Yes, you'll be able to get them in Augusta, Waterville, Portland, Bangor, Portsmouth, Manchester, Boston, New York City, wherever!

Starting Monday, nugget lovers will be able to get the fried chunks of goodness in orders of five, eight, twelve, or thirty-six.  So, there is a size no matter how big your appetite is or no matter how many people you are trying to feed.

And, just like they have had for their chicken tenders, you'll be able to get several varieties of KFC dipping sauces like Honey BBQ, ranch, honey mustard, and buffalo ranch.

For those who want a full meal, the company reportedly also plans to offer the nuggets in combo meals.  Each of those meals will come with nuggets, fries, a biscuit, and a medium drink.

What About Popcorn Chicken?

According to the Fox article, the company removed popcorn chicken from the menu last month.  Even though we all loved popcorn chicken, we have a feeling that these new nuggets are going to be way better.

The chain had reportedly announced back in February that they were axing some items to make room for new menu items.  In addition to the popcorn chicken, the chain also dropped Kentucky Fried Chicken Wings, Nashville hot sauce, strawberry lemonade, and chocolate chip cookies from the menu.
