According to WGME, police are looking for information about the whereabouts of a Lewiston man wanted in connection with a Thursday night shooting in Auburn.

At about 9:20 last night, police responded to reports of a shooting at the Walmart on Mount Auburn Avenue in Auburn.

Upon arrival, police found a 19 year old man who had been shot by an acquaintance following an altercation in the store's parking lot.  The victim was taken to the hospital.  His injuries were not life threatening.

A sixteen year old Lewiston boy has already been arrested in connection with the shooting.

Additionally, police are looking for 19 year old Sincere George, of Lewiston.  He was last seen leaving the scene in a black 2005 Chevy Cobalt.  The vehicle has a Maine license plate of 6552XY.

George is considered to be armed and dangerous.  Police are asking people not to approach him if they see him.  Instead, you should just call 911.
