According to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety's Shannon Moss, members of the Maine DEA have arrested five people in connection with a lengthy drug sting operation.

For several months, agents with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency’s Western District Task Force have been gathering information about a drug trafficking organization operating in the Livermore Falls area.  Community tips helped move things forward, along with intelligence from MDEA’s local law enforcement partners.  As the investigation built, agents eventually identified what they believed was the main trafficking location in town.

On Thursday, December 4, 2025, a search warrant was approved for 8 Monroe Street in Livermore Falls.  Before the warrant was served, officers stopped a vehicle connected to the home. Inside, they found one hundred and two grams of suspected cocaine.

Tanya Hill and Tajuan Washington were taken into custody and charged with trafficking in Scheduled W drugs. Both are now in the Androscoggin County Jail with bail set at ten thousand dollars cash.

Around three forty five that afternoon, MDEA agents and the Maine State Police Tactical Team moved in and executed the warrant at the residence.

Inside the apartment, investigators located sixty four grams of cocaine, one hundred forty three grams of cocaine base, and a handgun. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is about twelve thousand dollars.

Messiah Jones was charged with aggravated trafficking in Scheduled W drugs.  He is now at the Androscoggin County Jail on ten thousand dollars cash bail after an initial court appearance.

Tyquan Commsisso was charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. He is being held at the same jail on fifteen thousand dollars cash bail.

Tammie Stone was also taken into custody on several outstanding warrants.

This investigation is still active, and officials say more arrests are likely.

*NOTE - All suspects are considered innocent until being found guilty in a court of law

Maine State Police, the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office, Livermore Falls Police, Jay Police, and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office all assisted with the warrant and search.
