Loyal Biscuit Co. Opens in Hallowell
In the same week we report the closure of the Hallowell Dog Park, A Rockland-founded and Maine-owned business has expanded into Central Maine and is now open at 160 Water Street, Hallowell. Welcome, Loyal Biscuit Co.!
According to their Facebook page the store sells a "great selection of healthy foods for dogs and cats, including raw, freeze-dried, canned and kibble. Quality toys, treats, leashes, collars, beds and more! Plus self-serve dog-wash in all five stores!"
A grand opening celebration, planned for Saturday, Sept. 21, will offer an array of raffle items. All store locations will offer Chips N’ Dip and Pup-kin Spice Lattes for visiting dogs. They also will be raffling off a $60 gift card at each store as well as making a $500 donation to the Kennebec Valley Humane Society. Anyone who wishes to visit all six locations with their dog on Sept. 21 and provide photographic evidence, will be rewarded with a $100 gift card.
