A Schedule Of Fireworks Displays For Augusta, Lewiston, & Beyond
As it appears, at least here in Maine, we are nearly through the pandemic, cities and other municipalities across the state have announced plans to hold 4th of July celebrations. Or, at the very least, hold fireworks displays.
At first, it was just the major towns and cities announcing fireworks displays. More recently, though, smaller towns have their own fireworks displays.
2024 Maine 4th of July Fireworks Displays
According to WMTW, other towns and cities holding fireworks displays include: Ashland on July 2nd at 9 PM, Bath on July 4th at 9:15 PM, Biddeford on July 4th at 9 PM, Brooks on July 3rd at 9 PM, Deer Isle-Stonington on July 4 at 9 PM, Livermore Falls on July 3rd at 9 PM, Limington on July 2nd at 9 PM, Lisbon on July 3rd at 9 PM, Rockland on July 2nd at 9 PM, Rumford on July 4th at 9 PM, Ricker Hill Orchard in Turner, and York Harbor on July 3rd at 9 PM
Also, if you want to make the trip, according to WHDH, Boston is holding a massive fireworks display on July 4th at 10:30 PM. The best viewing will be from the Boston Commons.
If going to a fireworks display is not your thing because you are more of a DIY kinda' person, there are plenty of stores throughout Maine that sell commercial grade fireworks. Just check with your local town or city government (fire department?) before setting them off. Remember, safety first!
