Maine Heating Oil Prices Are Lower This Week

As we turn the corner toward spring, the average statewide cost of home heating fuel dropped in Maine this past week.

The Governor's Energy Office says that the average price for heating oil is now $2.81 a gallon, that's down 5 cents in the past week.

Kerosene prices dipped one cent per gallon for an average of $3.36, propane was also down one cent per gallon $2.71

Heating oil prices are still higher than they were one month ago.
