Maine Man Charged For Allegedly Killing His Wife
According to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety's Shannon Moss, an Alfred man has been arrested and charged for allegedly killing his wife.
At about 3 PM on Monday (April 10th), deputies from the York County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a residence at 81 Waterboro Road in Alfred. They were there to investigate a disturbance complaint.
Upon arrival, they found the body of a female. She was believed to be 39 year old Kristan Crow.
Crow reportedly lived at the residence with her husband James Crow. Deputies attempted to make contact with James Crow. He was not at home when law enforcement arrived.
He was later located and taken into custody. The press release goes on to say:
James Crow was located by Officers in the parking lot of Harry’s gas station on Route 111 in Lyman. James surrendered without incident.
The deceased was taken to the Office of The Chief Medical examiner. An autopsy was done on Tuesday morning and the body was confirmed to be that of Kristan Crow. Her manner of death was ruled a homicide.
Earlier today (April 11th), James Crow was charged with murder and was supposed to make his first appearance in court via Zoom this afternoon.
