If you had plans for Friday night, like I did, there is a good chance that you spend most of yesterday keeping an eye on the ever-changing weather forecast.

Initially, we were told we would be hit by snow in the middle of the afternoon; however, here in Central Maine, we didn’t see any real snowfall until just before 8 p.m. Of course, we expected nothing more than a dusting here in the Augusta area. Instead, we ended up with about 3 inches of snow by the time it was done.

Now that you have had a chance to clean up from last night's snow, we can talk about the weather events that we'll be dealing with in the next few days.
