Maine Restaurants Open on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

For most of us, Christmas dinner is one of those meals that we always eat at home.  Or, at least, we eat it in someone's home.

There are some really good reasons for that, too.

Family Christmas dinners are truly awe-inspiring!  They bring together loved ones in a heartwarming celebration of togetherness and tradition. The festive glow of lights, the scent of delicious home-cooked meals, and the laughter that fills the room create an atmosphere of pure joy.

Each dish served holds a memory, often passed down through generations, while the conversations remind us of the bond that only family can provide. Amidst the hustle of the season, these dinners are cherished moments to pause, reflect, and share gratitude for the love and support of those we hold dear.

Sounds magical, doesn't it?

Of course, not everyone is able to eat Christmas dinner at home.

Some people are traveling, some people are alone and don't see a reason to cook a massive (sometimes complex) meal for just themselves, and some people choose to go out for Christmas dinner so that none of the family needs to spend most of the holiday stuck in the kitchen.

Keep in mind that some of the restaurants we have listed are not open for Christmas dinner.  In some cases, they are open in the morning for breakfast or open in the evening for drinks and snacks, but not open for Christmas dinner.
