Maine State Police Responding To “Incident” In Vassalboro

UPDATE 4:30 PM, Monday May 30th

According to WMTW, one person is dead and one is injured following an early Monday morning incident at a Vassalboro apartment building.

According to police, no one has been taken into custody, but they say there is no danger to the public.

The three people involved, all males, knew each other.  As a result, they do not feel there is any danger to the public.

According to WABI TV, the Maine State Police are responding to some kind of incident in Vassalboro.

According to officials, there is no danger to the public.

No other info has been confirmed, but we are hearing from some listeners that it appears to be an "active shooter situation".
