Maine Teenager Killed In Early Monday Morning Car Crash
According to WMTW, a 15 year old girl from Southern Maine is dead following an early Monday morning crash.
The crash happened just after 3 AM on Ricker Road in Saco. A nearby resident heard a loud BANG and called authorities. When they arrived, authorities found a Toyota Highlander that had left the road and crashed into some trees.
The apparent driver, 15 year old Mariah Bailey, was pronounced dead at the scene.
While the investigation into the crash continues, the investigators believe the driver was heading south when she lost control after going over a small hill and around a corner. There was no indication of why she would have been out driving around at 3 AM.
