Mainers Needed For New Reality TV Show
In love with someone whose lifestyle is different from your own? You're a city mouse and they're a country mouse? Willing to make a big move for the right person? Have no issues doing it on national TV? This could be the perfect opportunity for you.
According to WGME, the production company behind TLC's "90 Day Fiance" (as well as WE's "Life After Lockup" and Nat Geo's "Doomsday Preppers") is looking for cast members for a new reality show tentatively called "Mountain Love".
The premise? The show will follow couples willing to make lifestyle compromises in order to be with their significant others. Basically, they are looking for men and women who are willing to move from the "city" to be with their significant others who are currently living "off the grid".
The money people at Sharp Entertainment have greenlit the show, but they are not willing to announce which network will be running it or when it will air. They are in the process of casting several couples in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Alaska. Those couples will be presented to the network running show. The network will have final say in which couples are chosen.
