Maine’s Favorite Vegetable Is…

Veggie brand Jolly Green Giant did a survey to find the favorite vegetable for each state.

Here in Maine we do not the national trend of favorite vegetables because out favorite veggie is carrots. While Maine's favorite is carrots more than half the state in the country liked broccoli the best.

The survey include 4,000 adults and 47% of the country loved broccoli.

Maine, Rhode Island and Washington were the only states that preferred carrots.

Corn came in second as a favorite vegetable in nine states.

Peas where the favorite veggie in only one state, Idaho.

On foxnews.com onions, peppers, celery and spinach didn't even make the list.
