Maine’s Millennials Earn Less Than Most

Millennials, anyone born between 1981 and 1997, it's a group of people that many advertisers target their advertising to. However, statistics show that age group as a whole doesn't earn much money, and it's even bleaker for Maine's millennials.

According to data from the Minnesota Population Center's 2014 'American Community Survey', Maine's millennials have a median income of $19,200. That ties New Mexico as the fourth lowest in the country. The median income for all Mainers was $33,400.

Millennials in Alaska earned the most with $27,500 and Montana was last at $18,000.
