Major Accident Closes I-295 Near Falmouth

The snow has started flying with blizzard warnings posted for much of the state. An unexpected burst of snow started just in time for the Friday morning commute and it has led to a major car accident on I-295.It occurred near mile marker 12 on Interstate 295 and has closed the southbound lanes. WGME reports that Maine State Police are on the scene where at least 19 cars are involved in the crash.
