Lewiston police are investigating a deadly overnight shooting, and it all started with a 911 call early Friday morning.
According to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety's Shannon Moss, the incident left one young woman dead and another in handcuffs.
Around 1:26 AM on March 20th, dispatchers got word of a shooting on Union Street. Officers responded quickly and called in help from the Maine State Police. When they got there, they found a young woman with a gunshot wound.
