Man Arrested After Barricading Himself In Augusta Apartment

According to the KJ, 34 year old Stephen Lee Nason, of Bangor, was arrested on Wednesday (April 22nd) afternoon after barricading himself in a Bridge Street apartment.

At around 12:30 yesterday afternoon, police responded to a trespassing complaint at 83 Bridge Street in Augusta.  When they approached Nason, he allegedly darted into an apartment.

The stand-off, which lasted less than an hour, ended when police forced their way into the apartment.

Nason is being charged with burglary, criminal mischief, assault, and several other crimes.
