
Man Arrested In Connection With Gardiner Robbery
Recently the Big Apple on Brunswick Ave in Gardiner was robbed at gun point around 10:30pm on November 10th.
The alleged robber made believe he was about to purchase something and then when the clerk waited on him, he pulled out a gun and demanded cash. He fled on foot into the downtown Gardiner area with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A Sheriffs deputy from Kennebec County responded to the call with a K-9 and attempted to track the perpetrator without success on the night of the robbery. However, as of last night police believe they have arrested the alleged robber.
Identified as is 37-year old Joshua Brown of Gardiner. Brown was arrested on Highland Avenue in Gardiner at a residence at approximately 9pm according to a report by WABI.
Brown is being held on 40-thousand dollars bail at the Kennebec County Jail
