Man Dies While Kite Skiing On Crystal Lake In Harrison

A 49-year-old man died Monday in a kite skiing accident on Crystal Lake in Harrison, Maine.

First responders were called to Crystal Lake around 11 a.m. on Monday. The man was on skies, using a kite to propel him across the snow.

The man lost control, went ashore, and hit a shed. The victim's wife called 911.

The man was taken by ambulance to Bridgton, and was then flown to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston where he died from his injuries.
