Meet Kristi’s New & Very Colorful Pets: Dino Dave & Rainbow Girl
Okay, okay, they aren't actually Kristi's new pets. These colorful new pets that now reside at Kristi's house are actually her children's pets. But if you're a parent, you already know dam well that if you get your kids a pet, the chances of them taking care of it are slim.
So, please, please, please don't get your kids any new pet until you are ready to take full responsibility because let's be real they aren't going to. This also means you have to keep an eye on pesky grandparents who sneak unsuspecting pets to the grandkids that live under your roof.
That's what happened to me.
After what I thought was a nice relaxing trip to Old Orchard Beach to enjoy the sunshine and visit my mother, who works on the pier, we ended the trip with 2 new family members.
Meet Dino Dave & Rainbow Girl!
If you're looking for a bright and super colorful friend for your kids that you can keep in a little cage and don't want a traditional goldfish, stop on the Pier at Old Orchard Beach and grab a fun hermit crab or two.
Don't know how to take care of a Hermit Crab? No worries, you can even grab a book that teaches you the ins and outs of Hermit Crab maintenance.
