Midcoast Maine Girl Selling Toys To Raise Money For Medical Workers
According to WABI TV, seven year old Alexandra Fullerton, of Warren, has been selling her toys to raise money for Pen Bay Medical Center and Warren Food Pantry.
So far, she has raised $30 for each of the organizations.
After collecting a pile of toys to be sold, they sanitized them, and put them out on the roadside for people to buy. They also put a money box outside, so there would be no contact.
Christina Fullerton, her mom, says Alexandra came up with the idea on her own. They watch the news as a family, so Alexandra has a pretty good idea of what is going on in the world.
The family is also trying to plan a parade for medical workers.
