According to a post on the Augusta Police Department's Facebook page, they are seeking the public's help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl from Augusta.

Police say that Raleah Truman left her home on the evening of Tuesday, November 19, and has not been seen since.

The Facebook post says, in part:

The Augusta Police Department is attempting to locate Raleah Truman (pictured below). Raleah left her home earlier this evening and has not returned.

The Facebook post explains that Raleah was last seen wearing a blue/white zip-up hoodie, grey/green leggings, black and white sneakers, and a pink hair scrunchie in her hair. She is 4'11" and weighs between 70 and 80 pounds.

Police say she is likely still in the Augusta area.

Each year, thousands of children are reported missing in the United States. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children reported on its website that it assisted with 28,886 reports of missing children in 2023 alone.

The collaboration between law enforcement, community members, and local media highlights the urgency of reuniting Raleah with her family. Every tip, no matter how small, could be crucial in bringing her home safely.
