The Most Beautiful Building in Maine is Truly Awe-Inspiring

Maine is no exception to this rule.
What is the Most Beautiful Building in Maine?
Recently, Love Exploring put out their list of the most beautiful buildings in each state.
For Maine, they selected a well-known house of worship. The website’s selection for Maine was Saint Ann’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in the seaside town of Kennebunkport.
The iconic church, which is nearly 140 years old, is like something you’d see in a movie. Made primarily of stone and ornate wood, there is something special about this church.
The church even has a spot where outdoor services can be held. Attendees of these services will have a stunning view of the rugged Maine coastline.
The website explained:
The rustic stone architecture might trick you into thinking that this quaint church is a lot older than it is. It was actually built in 1887, and it remains an important place of worship for the Catholic community in Maine. It's renowned for its 25 miniature stained-glass windows too.
If you plan on visiting the church, it is important to note that it is closed during the winter.
You can learn more about the church and check out additional pictures on the Saint Ann's website.
