Mrs. Maine International This Weekend

Deb Roberts from Wilton will compete as Mrs. Wilton International for the title of Mrs. Maine International 2018.

Roberts son, Michael Holland, 25, died on October 1, 2015, off the coast of the Bahamas when the El Faro cargo ship sank when it came into the path of hurricane Joaquin. Roberts says she continues to keep her son’s legacy alive by helping others. She and family members have set up the Hollandstrong Community Foundation that strives to provide resources to the communities of schools in Farmington, Jay and Turner.

At sunjournal.com they tell us that the Mrs. Maine International competition will be held this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Crooker Theater in Brusnwick. Competition will be open to the public on Sunday.
