New Country Spotlight: Sam Hunt- Hard To Forget

I am not going to lie, I was SO confused by this song at first.

It starts off with an unedited clip of Webb Pierce's "There Stands the Glass" from 1953. Then the beat kicks in, remixing the song as if it were done by a club DJ, finally Sam Hunt comes in with his own special brand of White Collar Country. 

It is an interesting song to say the least, but I actually love it. The mix of classic sound with a modern twist.

Sam Hunt is always pushing the boundaries, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.

His sophomore album, Southside, is set to be released in April.
