New Restaurant ‘Front & Main’ to Open This Week in Waterville

With all the recent stories about businesses closing in Central Maine, it's so refreshing to see stories start to pop up about businesses, especially new ones, opening in the area.

Over the weekend, our station was made aware of a brand new restaurant that will be opening in Waterville. We received word from Dominique Lewis that 'Front & Main' will be opening up inside the new Lockwood Hotel. The restaurant promises to be 'unlike anything else in Waterville' by offering up food that is sourced from local vendors as well as vendors from across the state.

According to the restaurant's Facebook Page, they are planning their opening for March 18th, this Thursday night, and will be available for dinner service Thursdays-Saturdays from 5-9p.

The info section of their website goes on to say that, "Maine is special. The seasons and the land are harder and more beautiful than anywhere else. So in Maine, people pull together and are welcomed inside to be nourished—especially at our table."
