NRF Says Big Spending on 2015 Halloween
According to the National Retail Federation more than 157 million Americans will celebrate Halloween this year. Total spending on the day will top $6.9 billion. Between decorations, candy, costumes and more, they expect the average person to spend around $74. This year some of the top costumes will be Minions, Frozen characters and Star Wars. More than 4 million adults are expected to dress as a witch while most family pets will be dressed as a pumpkin. Some other costumes you can expect to see this year: Pretty Pink Princesses, pint-sized Yodas, animal characters, Batman, and zombies.
