He will turn 70 years old on Christmas day, he doesn't look or act like a rock star, and in my opinion, he is one of the best and funnest shows you can go to.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Jimmy Buffett live four times, and each time has been an event.

From the pre show tailgating, to the sing along ballads and coral reefer music, it is an experience that must be done in person to fully appreciate.

The Bangor show Thursday night at the Darlings Waterfront Pavilion is sold out and close to 15,000 people are expected to be there,  dressed in various parrothead gear, wearing shorts and floral shirts, either bare foot or wearing flip flops, and primed and ready for the show.

If you are going to the show and plan on partying, make sure you have a designated driver and have a blast!

Here are just a few of my many favorite Buffett songs.

Fins.

I am 99.9% sure you can expect to hear this one Thursday night in Bangor.

A Pirate Looks At Forty.

One of my personal favorites and the anthem for middleagers.

I Wish Lunch Could Last Forever

Not one of his better known songs, but one of my favorites from his "Off To See The Lizzard" album from 1989
