POLL: What Do You Think About Maine Lowering The Fine For Speeding?

Maine is lowering the fine for speeding.  The Maine District Court conducted a study to see how Maine's speeding fines compared to surrounding states.  The results?  Maine's fines were higher.

According to the Portland Press Herald, Chief Judge Susan Oram approved a reduction in fines by about 15%...making the cheapest fine drop from $134 to $115.
