Over the last few decades, Maine has really become known for its craft beer scene.  We have soooo many breweries and all of them are great in their own way.

Some of them, like Shipyard, are truly iconic.  Who hasn't had the occasional Pumpkinhead during the fall season, right?

Others, are just exploding!  Expanding everywhere!

That's what's going on with Brickyard Hollow.  They started in Yarmouth in 2017.  Since then, they have expanded to nine locations that cover nearly all corners of the State of Maine.

And, based on what we are seeing, it looks as though they are going to be opening another location.

Brickyard Hollow's New Location

A sign in the old Chipotle location at the Marketplace at Augusta seems to indicate they will be opening their tenth location in the busy shopping center.

Of course, there is no mention of the new location on the company's website and we have no idea when they will be opening this new location.  We also have no idea what the plan to offer at their Augusta.  As fr as food goes, that is.

Regardless, we are super excited and can't wait to welcome them to Augusta by hoisting a glass.

Brickyard Hollow's Other Locations

In the meantime, you can visit their locations in Yarmouth, Freeport, Portland, Skowhegan, etc.  They even have a location in the camper's paradise of Eustis!

The brewery makes a variety of beers including the Trestle IPA, the Pumgustuk Porter, and the West Side Trail Ale.  Check out their menu and see what else they have to offer on their website.

Here is a list of the 20 highest rated beers from Maine breweries on the website, BeerAdvocate.

The list is dominated by three breweries- Allagash, Bissel Brothers, and Maine Beer Co. The IPA style is clearly the most popular, which is not surprising given recent beer trends.
