Portland Harbor Parade of Lights This Saturday

A Christmas Parade in August? Yep. The fourth annual Portland Harbor/Casco Bay Parade of Lights is this Saturday (Aug. 12) at 8 p.m.

The parade was originally scheduled for August 5^th but bad weather forced organizers to reschedule. The parade benefits the Toys for Tots program with each boat, crew and passengers donating a toy to the program.

According to pressherald.com the parade will last about 45 minutes circling the harbor twice and a couple of good places to watch are Fort Allen Park and Bug Light Park.
