Really? Yes, Another Storm Is Heading for Maine, New Hampshire
It feels like we have had more than our fair share of rain and storms this year, doesn't it? After having non-stop rain all summer long, and having to deal with a hurricane and a tropical storm, you probably thought we were going to get a break from the wild weather.
Apparently, not so much!
Some meteorologists are saying we could be in for another storm this weekend. However, this won't be a hurricane or a tropical storm, just a lot of rain and wind.
According to WCSH 6 meteorologist Jason Nappi, he is expecting a large storm to disrupt travel and cause problems with outdoor activities all this coming weekend.
At this point, he is saying that the rain will roll into New Hampshire and Maine on Friday. He expects that it will intensify overnight and be very heavy throughout the day on Saturday.
He also expects that part of Maine could still be dealing with rain showers on Sunday morning.
Nappi says he expects that parts of Maine will see between 1 and 3 inches of rain.

What about the winds? Yep! There'll be plenty of wind, too.
WCSH 6 is saying we could see 50 MPH gusts as the storm moves into our area and that we should expect 25 MPH gusts as the storm leaves our area.
Of course, it is still very early in the week. A lot can change between now and this weekend. We'll keep an eye on our local meteorologists and pass on the latest to you.
Do you have any big plans for the coming weekend?
