Though the three calls were to only two separate addresses, the Richmond fire department responded to three fire calls between Monday and Wednesday.

The first call on Monday was for a chimney fire on River Road. By the time firefighters arrived at the scene the fire had spread into the walls and ceiling. They were able to knock it down pretty quickly and get it extinguished, but there was some damage done to the property.

Tuesday evening at 9:17, the department responded to Langdon Road for a call of a structure fire and by the time crews arrived the structure had already been destroyed, however, no one was home at the time of the fire. The next morning the fire rekindled and crews had to go back and respray it with water.
