New Hampshire College Now Offering Free Tuition to Maine Students
Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire has some pretty good news for students in Maine and Vermont.
On Thursday, the college announced on its Facebook page that some students from those states could attend the school without paying tuition.
The program, called the “Anselmian Community Commitment,” covers full tuition for students with a GPA of at least 3.25 whose families earn less than $100,000 a year. The school previously offered the same opportunity to students from New Hampshire.
Saint Anselm President Mike Lewis says the goal is to make sure more students in Maine and Vermont know about the opportunity to become part of the Saint Anselm community.
There are a few requirements, though. Students must plan to live on campus, complete the FAFSA, and go through the school’s normal application process.
In operation since the late 1880s, the college is a Catholic liberal arts school offering programs in criminology, special ed, public policy, and nursing. Learn more about the school HERE.
For those who love history, you can now experience Saint Anselm College’s history through an interactive online walking tour created by College Archivist Keith Chevalier. Using satellite imagery and archival photos, the tour explores how the campus has evolved since 1889, including the stories behind historic buildings and memorable moments on the Hilltop.
