Even though laser light shows have been around for years (just ask any Pink Floyd fan), the concept really made a comeback during the pandemic.  It makes sense...  As they typically operate as a drive-in event, they allowed for social distancing.

Even though, for the most part, we have put the pandemic in the rearview, we are still seeing laser light shows tour the US.

In fact, we have another tour coming to Central Maine this spring!

According to a post on the Clinton Fairgrounds Facebook page, there is going to be a benefit laser light show put on by The Drive-In Laser Light Show Tour USA in mid-May.

The shows will be on Thursday, May 18th, Friday, May 19th, Saturday, May 20th, and Sunday, May 21st.

The event will benefit the Winslow Community Cupboard.  Part of the Winslow United Church of Christ, the cupboard is a food pantry helping those facing food insecurity in the Winslow area.  You can get more details from their website.

What is the show all about?  The listing describes it as:

The family friendly Laser Shows include some of your favorite Musical Hits from 70's, 80's, 90’s, Current Hits to Classic Rock! All choreographed with cutting-edge effects, high-powered lasers, and Large Screen Laser projection!

While the show you see won't be exactly like this, it will be similar.

Tickets are only $29 per carload - no matter how many people you jam in.  And, they plan to have an infield section where you can get out of the car and sit on your blanket. Plus, they plan to have food vendors.
