Raising a family in New England is a special experience.

Not only to we have fresh air, a limited amount of traffic, and relatively safe cities, we also have so much for families to do!

If you’ve lived in New England for more than a summer, you know we’re lucky to have some of the best amusement parks right in our backyard.

Maine has Funtown/Splashtown in Saco, a favorite for families who want rides and water fun in one spot.  Hop over to New Hampshire and you’ll find Canobie Lake Park, packed with coasters, games, and that old-school charm.  Then in Massachusetts, Six Flags New England brings the big thrills with massive roller coasters and water slides.

Whether you’re chasing adrenaline or just looking for a day of family fun, these parks give us plenty of reasons to stay close to home.

Of course, for many families, summer is not complete without a visit to Story Land.

You had so much fun at Story Land when you were a kid, how cool would it be to relive those great times you had at Story Land, but as an adult?

That's what Story Land Nostalgia Nights were made for!

Nostalgia Nights in 2025

The Story Land website describes the Nostalgia Nights as:

Nostalgia Night guests relive their younger years in the Land Where Fantasy Lives! Jump on the rides you loved as a kid, then visit Cinderella in her castle and get your photo taken, just like the old days! Indulge in treasured kiddie snacks like cotton candy, popcorn, and ice cream cones! Kick back and enjoy an adult beverage where as a kid you sipped a juice box, then groove to the tunes of live music.

The world-famous theme park had previously help four of these 21+ events in July and August.  Recently, they decided that they would add an additional night.

This final 21+ night will be held on Saturday, October 11th.

Right now, tickets for the event are only $45.  They will increase to $75 as the event gets closer.
